If they don't love the earth because it's the fashion now. Then Yes. I think it too. World would be better without me, probably without you and without humanity. But the humanity don't need to die or disappear if we stop everything what we do and go back to our original environment: to the nature.

Shockingly unremarkable. It is a wonder why SciAm would produce this. They are a science magazine not a fantasy mag. And there is no information in this that could not be directly observed without the fantasy of global human speciescide. Go to Tecnotitlan or Chernobyl and you don't have to contort your mind into wondering who would possibly care that the buildings were crumbling.

It is very unscientific to assume that a species which exists naturally from the Saharan dessert to the Alaskan tundra will be the next one to go extinct. If the lens that this "science" is so unnaturally contorted it is no telling what other uneccissary complexities they have introduced into their calculations. They should be reminded of Ocham's razor. They should stop embarrasing themselves while trying to promote their "evil human" concept.
